Digital wedding invitations in Kolkata
Kolkata weddings run on adda, music and family, and the invitation is where it all starts. InviteKatha makes digital wedding invitations for Bengali weddings that read beautifully in Bengali script and English, open with your song and tell your story before guests ever reach the mandap.
An e-invite your guests in Kolkata will actually open
A PDF is boring. Your InviteKatha invitation is a small website made from your story: an opening screen with your photo, your own song, your pre-wedding video, how you met, and every function with its time, venue, dress note, one-tap Google Maps directions, add to calendar, a live countdown and an RSVP that works.
Every Kolkata wedding function, on one link
- Aiburobhat The last lunch at home before the wedding, with its own time and venue card.
- Gaye Holud Turmeric, conch shells and laughter, with a dress note so nobody wears white.
- Biye The wedding itself: Saat Paak, Shubho Drishti and Sindoor Daan, with Google Maps to the right gate.
- Bou Bhaat The reception at the groom's home, with RSVP so the caterer knows the count.
In Bengali and English
We write and set your invitation in Bengali script with correct, traditional wording, and English is one tap away for friends from elsewhere. Families spread between Kolkata, Bengaluru, London and Toronto can open the same invitation the same evening, and Dida can read it in Bengali.
Prices

Questions
Can the invitation be fully in Bengali?
Yes. We set your invitation in proper Bengali script, with correct conjuncts and traditional wording such as Shubho Bibaho, and English is one tap away for friends who don't read Bengali.
How do guests open a InviteKatha invitation?
You get one link and a ready-to-forward WhatsApp message. Guests tap it and the invitation opens in their phone browser. There is no app to install.
How much does a digital wedding invitation cost?
Classic is ₹1,999, Signature is ₹3,499 and Heirloom starts at ₹9,999. One price covers any number of guests.
How long does it take?
Classic takes 2–3 days, Signature 4–6 days and Heirloom 7–14 days, including revision rounds.
Can we add our pre-wedding video and our own song?
Yes. Your pre-wedding film plays inside the invitation, and the song you choose plays as guests open it, starting from the line that means the most to you.
Do you only serve this city?
No. We work online with couples across India and abroad. We simply know the city's weddings, languages and venues well.
